whoa
The wait is finally over. The thing that I have been obsessing over for weeks...months, really...has finally arrived and I am SO excited!! My new camera!!! It was waiting for me on Sunday night when I got home from the beach. I tore into the box, got everything out and sat there staring. Whoa. I was/am completely overwhelmed. I started flipping through the instruction manual, hoping to calm my nerves, but that only succeeded in making me more nervous. Calm down, I told myself, You can totally do this!! You can learn how to use this camera! I know that this is true. I know that I can learn how to use this camera to its full potential, but the usually-dormant-impatient side of me has reared its ugly head and is screaming "But I want to know NOW!!!! I want to know how to do EVERYTHING perfectly RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I'm trying to reign in that impatience....I know that I will learn this camera because I really, really, REALLY want to. Maybe I'll go to Libby's house today and practice on Ellie...

Awesome camera. I want one someday. Im sure you will take awesome picture. you already do. Bring it in April so you can take some pictures of Jake for me. PLLLLLLLEASE!!!! I am awful at taking pictures. Start practing on beautiful Ellie.

Well, maybe we can learn together because I've had my camera for a year and a half and still don't know how to use it to it's full potential!
